Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Lazy Sweeps ("Lazy Sweeps", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information about you when you use our website and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
Lazy Sweeps is an informational tracking tool. We are not a casino, a sweepstakes operator, a gambling operator, or a payment processor, and we do not operate any game, hold any player funds, or process any redemption. Where the Service links to third-party operators, those operators are independent and govern their own data practices under their own policies.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
The data controller for the purposes of this Policy is the operator of Lazy Sweeps. If you have questions about this Policy or wish to exercise a right described below, contact us at privacy@lazysweeps.com.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended only for adults who are of legal age in their jurisdiction (18 or 21 or older depending on where you live). The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
3. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information.
3.1 Information you provide
- Account information. A username and email address, and, if you register with a password, a securely hashed form of that password. We never store your password in readable form.
- Sign-in with Google (optional). If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides us a stable account identifier, your email address, and, if available, your name and profile image. We do not receive your Google password.
- Activity you log. The sites you choose to track, your recorded daily bonuses, balances, purchases, redemptions, notes, and similar entries you enter to use the Service.
- Preferences. Settings such as your time zone, home state, display options, and notification choices.
- Communications. Messages you send us, and submissions such as promo-code suggestions.
3.2 Information we collect automatically
- Device and connection data. Your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system, and general device type.
- Session data. Records of your active sign-in sessions, including the approximate time of activity and the IP address of each session, so that you and we can review and end sessions for security.
- Usage data. Pages and features you use, and outbound clicks on links to third-party operators, including referral links. Following a referral link may earn us a commission; see Section 6.
- Email interaction data. For account and security emails we send you, we may record whether the message was delivered, opened, or its links clicked, to confirm delivery and diagnose problems. We do not send marketing or promotional email; see Section 5.
- Approximate location. We may determine an approximate location (such as a city and region) from your IP address in order to display it to you on your own session list and to help us and you detect unfamiliar sign-ins. This location is derived at the time of display and is not stored as a separate record; it lives only as long as the underlying session record.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. See Section 8.
3.3 Device characteristics for fraud prevention (where enabled)
To protect the Service and its users from fraud, multiple-account abuse, and unauthorized access, we may collect characteristics of the device and browser you use, such as screen and hardware attributes, rendering characteristics, installed font signals, and similar technical properties, and combine them into a device signature. Where this feature is enabled, we use it solely as an internal security and abuse-prevention signal reviewed by our staff. It is not used for advertising, for cross-site tracking, or to build a marketing profile, and it is never used, on its own, to automatically restrict or ban an account. This information is accessible only to our administrators. If you delete your account, the associated device signatures are deleted with it.
4. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account;
- authenticate you, keep you signed in, and enable account recovery;
- secure the Service and prevent fraud, abuse, multiple-account activity, and unauthorized access;
- send you account and security email you request or that is necessary to operate your account (for example, address verification and password resets);
- calculate and display your own statistics and, only where you opt in, your standing on a members leaderboard;
- understand aggregate, de-identified usage so we can improve the Service; and
- comply with law and enforce our terms.
We rely on the following bases for processing, as applicable to you: performance of our agreement with you to provide the Service; our legitimate interests in securing the Service and preventing abuse; your consent where we ask for it; and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Email
Lazy Sweeps sends only account and security email that you request or that is necessary to operate your account, such as address verification, password resets, and a one-time welcome message. We do not send newsletters, promotional email, or marketing email. You can still ask us to stop emailing a given address, and we will honor it for any non-essential message.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as follows:
- Service providers. Vendors who process data on our behalf and under our instructions, such as our hosting provider and our transactional email provider, solely to provide the Service.
- Third-party operators via links. When you follow a link, including a referral link, to a third-party operator, you leave the Service and that operator collects information under its own policy. We do not transmit your account data to those operators; the link itself may allow us to be credited with the referral.
- Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lazy Sweeps, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
7. Data retention
We keep account and activity information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Security and session records are kept for a limited period appropriate to their purpose. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify the information associated with it, except where we must retain certain records to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect form submissions. If you choose "keep me signed in," we set a persistent cookie for that purpose. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.
9. Your choices and rights
You can, at any time from your account:
- Access and download the information we hold about you, using the export tool in your account settings;
- Delete your account and its associated data, using the delete tool in your account settings;
- Review and end active sign-in sessions; and
- Update your profile and preferences.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know, access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no such activity to opt out of. To exercise any right, use the in-account tools above or contact us at privacy@lazysweeps.com. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect your information, including password hashing, encrypted transport, and access controls on administrative data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. United States
The Service is intended for users in the United States, and information is processed in the United States. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Policy.
